HCG Regional Accounting Services
The Regional Accounting program provides professional municipal accounting services to towns and quasi-government entities. Services include warrant input, journal entries, reconciliation of cash and receivables, year-end closing entries, Tax Rate Recapitulation, Free Cash certification and Schedule A preparation. Our program ensures that your municipality/agency maintains accurate record keeping, timely report filing and compliance with state and federal laws.
Offered on a contract basis, the Regional Accounting Program provides an economical way for government entities to secure a professional, competent Accountant without paying the additional costs, such as health benefits, workers compensation and paid time off of staffing the position.
Our accountants are also available to assist with special projects such as financial software conversions, setting up new or expanded chart of accounts, or to provide back-up for extended absences of town fiscal department staff.
